Islamic festival after the Hajj

Source Eid al-adha

“Using animals for human consumption is widely accepted but slashing the throats of animals in public in front of children is not.

This is usually done during the Islamic festival of
Eid ul-Adha.

The Islamic method of slaughtering animals is particularly brutal.

Not only does it take the life of an animal, but it does so after torturing the animal and making it bleed to a slow and painful death.

It is but common sense that an instantaneous death at least saves the animal the suffering.”

“. . . . for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction”
Holy Koran ( 13:28 )

On the Holy occasion of Eid ul-Adha that celebrates the Hajj . . . may you be filled with happiness & may every step of your journey through life be blessed by Allah !

Eid Mubarak !

Why - if you return from the Hajj
filled with happiness and blessings -
must that be celebrated in cruel bloodshed ?
